Want a New Lover in Your Life?

It’s no coincidence that Song of Songs in the bible – being such a passionate book of love between two people, that borders on the erotic, and is immensely captivating to almost every person – it’s no coincidence that God preemptively included this in the Bible for you.

That’s because, this is exactly the type of relationship God wants to have with you.

Lovers who are so smitten with each other, whose minds are utterly preoccupied with each other, where time with them is prioritised above everything else, who are infinitely loyal and yielded to one another, and who would give up their lives for each other.

You could say they are infatuated with each other. This is what two people who are madly in love are like. Are you madly in love with someone like that? Are you madly in love with Jesus like that?

It’s not only possible to have the sweetest, most intimate relationship with Him, it’s what He desperately seeks. Why don’t you pursue Him for a relationship like that. It’s not only doable, but it really should be the normal Christian life.

There is only one way that you and Jesus can fall in love like that, and that is by spending time together, lots and lots of time. That might be with you and Him alone. Or it might be time with Him as you go about your daily living – ideally both.

Jesus wants you to be infatuated with Him. Read Song of Songs and imagine you and Jesus in the story falling in love with each other.
