“Only be careful, and watch yourselves closely so that you do not forget the things your eyes have seen or let them fade from your heart as long as you live”
– Deuteronomy 4:9
I have a problem!
I forget about God a lot
I forget to ask Him for help
I forget to pray in difficult situations
I forget to apply His ways when I could clearly benefit from them
I forget to thank Him for good things
I forget that He is my helper… in everything!
I really want to remember God more.
That’s why I built this website, to help you (and me) remember God more.
1. Set up some physical items as memorials. When the Israelites crossed over the Jordan, God instructed Joshua to set up a memorial so the people after them would not forget what God had done:
“…when your children ask you, ‘What do these stones mean?’ tell them that the flow of the Jordan was cut off before the ark of the covenant of the Lord. When it crossed the Jordan, the waters of the Jordan were cut off. These stones are to be a memorial to the people of Israel forever.”
These memorials don’t have to be big things. God told me to do this with a coffee machine once, to remind me and my family how God had provided for our family in a time of financial need, by the unexpected sale of a coffee machine.
2. Thanking God for the food He provides. As Jesus broke bread with His friends, he said ‘do this to remember me‘.
As a family, we used to do this every night, then over time, we drifted from the habit, unintentionally (that’s one of the devil’s subtle strategies.. to drift away slowly from spiritual disciplines without realising it’s happening).
3. One thing that has been invaluable in helping me remember God, is going into his creation. There is something so alluring about connecting with the Lord in nature – the ineffable beauty and majesty of the great outdoors that He made for us.
This is why one of my favorite places in the world to visit is Queenstown, New Zealand. I was born in New Zealand but have lived in Australia the last 15 years. But I love going back because I feel God when I am there like no other place. And its because of its absolute beauty, that the Lord has made for us.
4. We are producing a range of items that you can use in everyday living that will help you remember God. Our first item is the Robe of Righteousness Bath Robe, incorporating scriptures to remind you of God in your daily living.

In the book of Deuteronomy, God prompts us nine times not to forget Him.
How is it that we remember less important things so easily, but forget about the one thing that makes human existence such a blessing – remembering God in everything?
Is forgetting God a work of our adversary?
If I were the devil, I would do whatever I could to make you forget about God.
And the more often, the better.
I’m not suggesting that every time we forget to include God in our daily activities, it’s because of the devil. But he is very happy when we do. And often it is precisely his strategy.
The good news is that you can resist and overcome anything the devil throws at you, including the propensity to forget.
Resist the devil and he will flee – James 4:7
You may say, “look, I don’t want to get into this spiritual warfare stuff”.
Unfortunately, you do not have an option.
The moment you say ‘yes’ to God, warfare becomes your default lifestyle.
It’s one aspect of Christianity that is unfortunate, and nobody really wants it, but everyone must learn to fight… or die!
You are now in a personal war, whether you know it or not, want it or not, or like it or not.
The devil, among other things, wants to kill you, and to fill your mind with lies about yourself, so that you don’t achieve Gods will (John 8:44).
But our Lord has provided every weapon necessary to utterly demolish Satan, the ultimate great loser (Eph 6:11).
So grab hold of the weapons that God has provided for you to win these battles, which you will certainly face.
One other important thing – don’t fight it alone.
Pick up the phone, send a message, or whatever is needed to ask your prayer warrior friends to pray when you feel things aren’t going well, and you may be under an attack from your adversary.
For me, this has been the difference between success and failure. And it is something else the devil will try to make you forget. He knows how unlikely he is to win against you, if a number of people are taking their authority against him simultaneously. Conversely, he knows he has a good chance if he can isolate you and attack you on your own.
“Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.” Matthew 18:19
The military does not send one soldier out to fight a war on his own.
