I have a problem!
I forget about God a lot
I forget to ask Him for help
I forget to pray in difficult situations
I forget to apply His ways when I could really benefit from them
I forget to thank Him for good things
I forget that He is my helper… in everything!
I really want to remember God more.
That’s why I built this site, to help you (and me) remember God more.
Ways to Remember God in Everyday Activities
1. Set up some physical items as memorials.
When the Israelites crossed over the Jordan, God instructed Joshua to set up a memorial so the people after them would not forget what God had done:
When your children ask you, ‘What do these stones mean?’ tell them that the flow of the Jordan was cut off before the ark of the covenant of the Lord.”
When it crossed the Jordan, the waters of the Jordan were cut off. These stones are to be a memorial to the people of Israel forever
These memorials don’t have to be big things.
God told me to do this with a coffee machine once, to remind me and my family how God had provided for our family in a time of financial need, by the unexpected sale of a coffee machine.
2. Thanking God for the food He provides.
As Jesus broke bread with His friends, he said ‘do this to remember me’.
As a family, we used to do this every night, then over time, we drifted from the habit, unintentionally (that’s one of the devil’s subtle strategies.. to drift away slowly from spiritual disciplines without realising it’s happening).

3. Probably my favorite thing of all to help me remember God, is going into his creation.
There is something so alluring about connecting with the Lord in nature – the ineffable beauty and majesty of the great outdoors that He made for us.
This is why one of my favorite places in the world is Queenstown, New Zealand. I was born in New Zealand but have lived in Australia the last 15 years
But I love going back because I feel God when I am there like no other place. And its because of its sheer beauty, that the Lord made for us to help us enjoy him.
4. Another beneficial thing to help me remember God – and also increase the depth of my relationship with Him – has been to listen to an audio Bible.
I had tried a lot of audio Bibles for a long time, without much success. Sometimes the reader would overdramatize the text, which didn’t sound right. Or I would find the voice to be a little annoying, and couldn’t listen to it for very long.
But I have found an audio bible in NIV version, that is the most highly rated audio Bible currently available, and for good reason. It is read by David Suchet. He does a superb job of knowing when to implement correct inflections, when to slow down, and when to speed up. He also changes tones for different people speaking. It’s the perfect audio bible in my opinion and fantastic to listen to.
I can listen to him for hours without losing interest. Apparently it took him two years to record, and what a wonderful result.
I purchased it from Audible but have since discovered you can listen for free at Bible Gateway. Although listening on the Audible app does give you a few more options on voice speed and sleep timers, and is easier to track where you are up to.
I set this book for 30 minutes when I go to bed each night.
And I’ll often turn it on again in the morning before I get out of bed. Lying in bed listening and visualizing some stories from the bible has given me deeper insight into scripture, and has helped bring me closer to God.
As a Christian who desperately wants everything God has to offer, I want to get as much of God’s word into me as possible.
A good audio Bible is a fantastic way of boosting the amount of God’s word that gets into your spirit.
I have discovered that it reveals and teaches me things that I simply don’t get when reading a hard copy.
There’s something about listening to the word (faith comes by hearing – Romans 10:17).
Don’t get me wrong, most of my Bible reading still happens with a hard copy (or digital), but this audio version allows me to listen to it while I’m running, while I’m in bed, while I’m driving.
It surprisingly and significantly increases the revelation I get from the word.
Try it!
5. We are currently producing a range of items that you can use in everyday living that will help you remember God.
Our first one is the Robe of Righteousness bathrobe, incorporating scriptures to remind you of God as you go about your home.
Take a look.
What do you do that helps you remember God in daily living?
but with many advisers, they succeed – Proverbs 15:22

I’m always reminded of God when I’m listening to worship music on my drives to and from work. I’m also…
– my phone wallpaper ( I have a scripture / biblical quotes on it) – I also get a notification…
Remember Me
In the book of Deuteronomy, God prompts us nine times not to forget Him.
How is it that we remember less important things so easily, but forget about the one thing that makes human existence such a blessing.
Satan Wants You to Forget
Is forgetting about God a work of our adversary?
If I were the devil, I would do whatever I could to make you forget about God.
And the more often, the better.
I’m not suggesting that every time we forget to include God in our daily activities, it’s because of the devil.
But he is very happy when we do. And often it is precisely his strategy.
The good news is that you can resist and overcome anything the devil throws at you, including the propensity to forget.
Resist the devil and he will flee – James 4:7
You may say: “look, I don’t want to get into this spiritual warfare stuff”.
Unfortunately, this is one thing we don’t get to choose.
The moment you say yes to God, warfare becomes part of your future.
Nobody particularly wants to deal with this unfortunate aspect of Christianity, but everyone has to learn to fight—or perish!
Whether you realize it or not, whether you want it or not, whether you like it or not, you are now engaged in a personal conflict.
You Can Beat the Devil
The devil, among other things, wants to kill you, and to fill your mind with lies about yourself, so that you don’t achieve Gods will (John 8:44).
But our Lord has provided every weapon necessary to utterly demolish Satan, the ultimate great loser (Eph 6:11).
So grab hold of the weapons that God has provided for you to win these battles, which you will certainly face.
One other important thing – don’t fight it alone.
Ask for Help
Pick up the phone, send a message, or whatever is needed to ask your prayer warrior friends to pray when you feel things aren’t going well – when you may be under an attack from your adversary.
For me, this has been the difference between success and failure. And it is something else the devil will try to make you forget. He knows how unlikely he is to win against you if many people are helping you resist.
Conversely, he knows he has a good chance if he can isolate you and attack you on your own.
Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven -Matthew 18:19
